TCU athletes Elea Beutel and Kaitlyn Bradley were named Big 12 Pair of the Week on March 31, marking the first time this season a TCU duo has received this honor.

The recognition comes after Beutel and Bradley competed together for the first time at the No. 1 position during the Big 12 Preview over the weekend. The pair achieved a record of three wins and one loss, with all three victories coming in straight sets.

In their opening match, they defeated South Carolina’s top pair with scores of 22-20 and 21-16. Against Arizona State, ranked No. 11, they won two closely contested sets, finishing at 27-25 and 22-20. Their third win came against Boise State with set scores of 21-19 and 21-18.

This award is a first for both Beutel and Bradley in their collegiate careers.

TCU will compete next week at the Center of Effort Challenge in San Luis Obispo, California.
