The Big 12 Conference announced on Apr. 10 that the dates for TCU’s football games against Arizona and Texas Tech have been changed following selections by the league’s broadcast partners.
The game between TCU and Arizona will now take place on Friday, November 6, while the matchup with Texas Tech has been moved to Thursday, November 26, which falls on Thanksgiving. The conference said that official television designations and kickoff times for these games will be announced at a later date.
This marks TCU’s first trip to Tucson since 2003, when the Horned Frogs defeated the Wildcats in overtime with a score of 13-10. In recent years, TCU has found success playing in Lubbock against Texas Tech, winning four of their last five meetings there during the seasons of 2021, 2019, 2017, and 2015.
The full schedule for TCU’s upcoming season includes home games against Grambling State (Sept. 12), Arkansas State (Sept. 19), BYU (Oct. 3), West Virginia (Oct. 24), Kansas (Oct. 31), Kansas State (Nov.14), and Utah (Nov.21). The team is also set to open its season on Aug.29 versus North Carolina in Dublin.
With these adjustments finalized by the Big 12 Conference and its broadcast partners, fans are advised to stay tuned for further announcements regarding TV coverage and game times.
