Kelly Hancock, a Texas State Senator representing the 9th Senate district since 2013, recently shared updates on his activities and policy priorities through a series of posts on social media.

On February 8, 2026, Hancock highlighted his engagement with local leaders and activists at a political event in Amarillo. He wrote, “Great night connecting with grassroots activists and Panhandle leaders at the Amarillo Lincoln-Reagan Dinner! I was glad to share our accomplishments at the Comptroller’s office supporting ICE, ending DEI, and launching Texas DOGE. Thanks for hosting, @FairlyForTexas. Great to https://t.co/PwbD6T9ZLt”.

The following day, Hancock expressed appreciation for his wife’s involvement in campaign activities in Wise County. On February 9, he posted, “Grateful for my incredible wife Robin hitting the trail in Wise County this weekend, spending time with voters and sharing our vision for a stronger, more accountable Texas! Lots of good memories of visiting our family ranch and feed store in Decatur! https://t.co/PUfwnVjXBT”.

Later that same day, Hancock commented on the launch of a new state program aimed at empowering parents. He stated on February 9: “As usual, Texas leads the nation! We’re excited to launch this historic program and empower parents. Thank you, @GregAbbott_TX! https://t.co/pWKJjoguu7”.

Hancock has served as a Republican member of the Texas State Senate since 2013 after succeeding Chris Harris. During his tenure he has focused on various legislative initiatives affecting both state policy and local communities.
