Kelly Hancock, a Republican member of the Texas State Senate representing the 9th district since 2013, shared a series of posts on February 4, 2026, highlighting Texas’s economic standing and expressing gratitude for support from engineering professionals.

In one post, Hancock acknowledged positive feedback from a constituent or organization by stating, “Glad you had a good experience.” (posted on February 4, 2026).

Later that day, he emphasized the role of engineers in Texas’s economy: “Texas is the 8th largest economy in the world in large part because of the innovation and expertise of the talented engineers across our state. Thank you for the support, @TSPE_HQ!” (posted on February 4, 2026).

In another message posted on February 4, Hancock expressed appreciation for opportunities to discuss economic issues: “Thank you for allowing me to discuss the strong Texas economy and the encouraging indicators for increased affordability for all Texans in 2026.”

Hancock has served as state senator since his election in 2013. He succeeded Chris Harris and represents Texas’s 9th Senate district.
