Texas State Senator Kelly Hancock, a Republican representing the 9th Senate district since 2013, shared updates and expressions of gratitude in a series of posts on February 7, 2026.

In one post from that day, Hancock acknowledged Governor Greg Abbott’s role in a recent initiative, stating, “Honored that @GregAbbott_TX allowed me to be a part of forming and launching this historic program. Great job team!” (posted on February 7, 2026).

Later the same morning, Hancock attended a political event and expressed his ongoing commitment to Texas. He wrote, “Great morning at the Texas Republican Assembly candidate forum! Let’s keep Texas the best place to live, work, raise a family, and run a business. Thank you!” (posted on February 7, 2026).

In another message later that afternoon, Hancock reconnected with an acquaintance: “Great catching up with you my friend! See you soon.” (posted on February 7, 2026).

Kelly Hancock has served as state senator for Texas’s 9th Senate district since his election in 2013. He succeeded Chris Harris in this position.
