Kelly Hancock, Texas State Senator representing the 9th Senate district since 2013, shared updates on his social media account regarding recent activities and endorsements related to his role as Comptroller.

On February 6, 2026, Hancock expressed appreciation for a local political event by stating, “Thank you to the Kendall County Republican Party for a great Lincoln Reagan Dinner! It was a fun night celebrating the work we’re doing at the Comptroller’s office to advance faith, family, and freedom across Texas.”

Later that day, Hancock announced an endorsement from a law enforcement association. He wrote on February 6, 2026: “I’m honored to be endorsed by the Game Warden Peace Officers Association. Texas Game Wardens serve on the front lines every day protecting public safety, conserving our wildlife, and preserving the natural beauty that makes Texas special!”

In a separate post on February 6, 2026, he commented simply: “What a start!”

Hancock has served in the Texas State Senate since his election in 2013 as a member of the Republican Party. He succeeded Chris Harris in representing District 9.
