Nate Schatzline, a Republican member of the Texas House of Representatives for District 93 since 2023, used his social media platform to call attention to legislative issues and upcoming events.
On July 30, 2025, Schatzline urged public participation in an upcoming hearing regarding congressional redistricting. In his post, he wrote: “CALL TO ACTION: Friday at 10am is the hearing for the ONE BIG BEAUTIFUL MAP that could add 5 Republican Congressional seats in Texas
We need you to show up to support the America 1st agenda, secure the future of the U.S., & stand with @realDonaldTrump https://t.co/8pLhFd5mA0https://t.co/lcw6xpw4kx“.
The following day, on July 31, Schatzline addressed taxpayer-funded lobbying practices in Texas. He stated: “We MUST ban tax payer funded lobbying! It’s now up to us in the Texas House to get this done.
It’s pretty simple… Tax payer dollars should not be used to lobby AGAINST property tax reform, relief, & elimination! Believe it or not… that’s what’s CURRENTLY happening! #txlege https://t.co/Eh1WDlslEg“.
Later on July 31, Schatzline commented on legislative procedure by sharing a brief statement: “Worth reading. Breaking quorum has consequences. https://t.co/o6F3gX5yVA”.
Schatzline began serving in the Texas State House after being elected in 2023. He succeeded Matt Krause as representative for District 93.
