Nate Schatzline, a Republican elected in 2023 to represent Texas’s 93rd House district in the State House, published several posts on his Twitter account expressing support for Governor Greg Abbott and criticizing Democratic opposition.
On August 5, 2025, Schatzline posted: “Thank you @GregAbbott_TX https://t.co/9dpUzoGh5P”.
The following day, on August 6, he wrote: “Absolutely SHAMEFUL! https://t.co/T8dKjRZxtu”.
Shortly after, he added another post: “This is proof that what Democrats are actually mad at is that Republicans are FINALLY fighting back! https://t.co/KQR50WcnQE”.
Schatzline was elected to the Texas State House in 2023, succeeding Matt Krause as representative of District 93. As a member of the Republican Party, he has used social media to comment on state politics and actions by both parties.
