City of Fort Worth issued the following announcement on April 2
As more residents are staying home during the COVID-19 outbreak, crews are seeing an increase of trash mixed with recycling. Fort Worth’s solid waste services reminds everyone to be diligent and help reduce recycling stream contamination. Here are some tips to help:
-Aluminum, tin, and steel cans
-Plastic bottles, jugs, and containers numbered 1, 2 & 5
-Glass jars and bottles
-Paper and cardboard boxes (broken down)
And remember all materials should be Empty, Clean, and Dry!
