City of Fort Worth issued the following announcement on June 12.
What is the City of #FortWorth's new #DiversityAndInclusion Department working on in our #BusinessEquity,
#MunicipalEquity and #Enforcement Divisions? Here's a snapshot:
Business Equity Division
1. Partnering with #contracting and #purchasing departments to #redesignpolicy, and processes for #equity in procurement, #capitalprojectplanning, contract execution and contract closeout.
2. Implementing 2020 Business Equity #DisparityStudy recommendations as approved by the City Manager.
Enforcement Division
1. Implementing a #Conciliation Tracking Database to ensure #compliance with all executed conciliation agreements, per U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (#HUD) directives.
2. Establishing community partnership with the Tarrant County #Homeless Coalition to provide fair housing training to their more than 50 partnering organizations that provide services to those #atrisk or experiencing homelessness.
Municipal Equity Division
1. Complete the #ValuesSummit Workshop Series on #Diversity and #MutualRespect for city non-supervisory staff with #DrBryantMarks facilitating.
2. Deliver an #EquityPlan for the #Transportation and #PublicWorks Department (#TPW) and an Equity Plan template that can be used for other #municipalservicedelivery city departments.
