City of Fort Worth issued the following announcement on June 17.
The high volume of traffic is overloading the payment system causing delays online and at the customer service phone center.
Customers who do not have a bill due immediately are asked to delay signing up on the website until later in the day or even later in the week. We appreciate your patience.
To avoid long hold times, anyone contacting the call center is urged to use the option that allows leaving your name and phone number so a representative can call you back.
