The Fine Line Group is offering $100,000 in grants through the "Sounds of Resilience" program.

Music was submitted by more than 150 applicants who went through a competitive application process. Of the 150 applications, 40 Fort Worth-area musicians were selected to obtain funding. The grants will be used to help the artists create songs that reflect what life in Fort Worth is like amid the pandemic.

"Sounds of Resilience" is a program designed to achieve multiple goals. First, the program empowers local musicians to work to create music of this unprecedented time and bring unity to the people of Fort Worth. Second, the program is designed to help artists share, process and heal through music in an effort to reflect their experience during the coronavirus crisis.

A panel of six music industry musicians and producers reviewed and scored all 150 applications. The top 40 applicants received $2,000 grants, and the six artists who scored the highest on their applications received an additional $3,000.
