Reach out to your councilmember at upcoming town halls

City of Forth Worth Texas issued the following announcement on Aug. 27

City councilmembers have scheduled a slate of town hall meetings in the coming weeks to keep residents informed about topics like redistricting, the upcoming bond election, police matters, economic development and more.

Here is the current schedule:

Aug. 25, 6-8 p.m., Northwest Library, 6228 Crystal Lake Drive. District 2. Topics: Transportation & Public Works, Police, Bond, Budget.

Aug. 30, 6-8 p.m., Victory Forest Community Center, 3427 Hemphill St. District 9. Topic: Redistricting.

Sept. 1, 6-8 p.m., Golden Triangle Library, 4624 Golden Triangle Blvd. District 4. Topics: Police, Transportation & Public Works, 2022 Bond Election, Redistricting.

Sept. 2, 6-8 p.m., Chisholm Trail Community Center, 4680 McPherson Blvd. District 6. Topics: Budget, Bond, Redistricting, MyFW App.

Sept. 7, 6-8 p.m., University Christian Church, 2618 S. University Drive. District 9. Topics: Bond, Budget.

Sept. 8, 6-8 p.m., R.D. Evans Community Center, 3242 Lackland Rd. District 3. Topics: Bond, Budget.

Sept. 9, 6-8 p.m., Rockwood Golf Course, 1851 Jacksboro Hwy. District 2. Topics: Transportation & Public Works, Police, Bond, Budget.

Sept. 11, 1-3 p.m., University of Texas at Arlington Research Institute, 7300 Jack Newell Blvd. South. District 5. Topics: Budget, Bond, Redistricting.

Sept. 15, 6-8 p.m., Prairie Vista Middle School, 8000 Comanche Springs Drive. District 7. Topics: Budget, Bond, Redistricting, Transportation & Public Works.

Sept. 22, 6-8 p.m., The Warehouse, 1125 E. Berry St. District 8. Topics: State of the District, Redistricting, Bond/Budget, Neighborhoods, Economic Development.
