City of Azle issued the following announcement on Oct. 26
Azle City Council completed a comprehensive review of the City’s Fee Schedule and adopted a new Fee Schedule that went into effect October 1, 2021. The Ordinance with the new fee schedule can be found on this website.
Some of the revised/new fees are listed below.
- Fence Permit $25 (new fee)
- Initial license fees for dogs and cats $10
- Renewal license each year thereafter for a dog or cat $5
- Duplicate license tag for a dog or cat $5 (Removed separate license/renewal fee for dog or cat that has been spayed or neutered.)
- Impoundment fee for dogs $30
- Animal held in quarantine (per day) $15
- Utility reconnection fee due to non-payment $25 (Monday through Friday, 8am – 5 pm)
- Utility reconnection fee due to non-payment $50 (After 5 pm Weekdays, Saturday and Sunday)
- Rental fee for Shady Grove Ballfields (per hour) $15 without lights $25 with lights
- Private Tournament $300 / one field Additional field $50
- Field Attendant required during tournaments $200 (new fee)
- Rental fee for Gazebo or Pavilion in Central Park (per hour) Resident $20 Non-resident $25
