Ladyjacks head to Rowlett this weekend looking to win their first conference championship at the SBL Championship.

SFA, who enters the championship as the #3 seed in the tournament, will kickoff play against #6 Louisiana Tech Friday morning at 8:30 A.M. Each round will feature a mega-match format, consisting of a five-person traditional game, a five-game Baker total pinfall and if necessary, a best-of-seven Baker match play.

The best-of-seven match play is only needed if the teams are tied after the five-game Baker total pinfall as the winning team needs to win two of the three events the mega-match event to win the match.

SFA enters the Championship as one of the best teams in the nation, placing 5th in the latest NTCA Poll. The SBL is one of the highest rated leagues in the nation, with 7 of the 8 teams ranked in the top 25.
