The City of Fort Worth is dedicated to providing essential services that enhance the city’s desirability and competitiveness. Our approved fiscal year 2024 budget embodies this commitment, emphasizing investments aimed at ensuring a high quality of life for all residents. Under the theme of “So Safe, So Clean, So Green,” this year's budget prioritizes a better future for our community.

The budget passed with a four-cent reduction in the property tax rate, lowering it to 67.25 cents per $100 of assessed valuation. Additionally, earlier this year, the City implemented an increase in the taxable value exemption for eligible homestead property owners, further demonstrating our dedication to supporting homeowners.
