There were two Pacific Islander students enrolled in High Point Academy School District in the 2021-22 school year, the same number as the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that High Point Academy School District welcomed 1,431 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, Pacific Islander students comprised 0.1% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

High Point Academy School District roughly covers schools within Tarrant County and has a main office in Fort Worth.

Among the three schools in High Point Academy School District, High Point Academy Fort Worth Elementary recorded the highest enrollment of Pacific Islander students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of one student.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
