On Tuesday, Fort Worth City Council approved construction of two separate mixed-use developments totaling at least 740,000 square feet. The developments are located at the northwest corner of West Seventh and Foch streets, and the other located at the northeast corner of University Drive and Bledsoe Street.
Why it matters: The development will be completed by Goldenrod Services LLC, a national real estate development company focused on projects in growing markets in the central United States. The developer has participated in dozens of mixed-use projects and public-private partnerships. Goldenrod will develop the new construction in at least three structures of at least eight stories to be comprised of new office space, retail space, a 175-key hotel, two parking garages and 466 multifamily units.
What’s next: The next steps include authorizing agreements for the operation and maintenance of the parking garages and executing other related agreements as necessary with Goldenrod. The project is slated to be completed by the end of 2027.
