The City of Fort Worth will begin using Bonfire as its online procurement platform in January 2024. All current City of Fort Worth vendors, as well as any vendors interested in doing business with the City, will need to register in Bonfire Interactive.

Why it matters: The City will stop its current process of receiving hard copies of bid responses and start advertising, collecting responses and awarding solicitations through Bonfire for all procurements posted on or after Jan. 1, 2024. All procurements posted prior to that date will follow the current, hard-copy process.

What’s next: There are three upcoming vendor trainings:

  • Nov. 29, 10 a.m.-noon, via Zoom or in person at City Hall, 200 Texas St., Council Chamber.
  • Nov. 30, 2-4 p.m., via Zoom or in person at Bob Bolen Public Safety Complex, 505 W. Felix St.
  • Dec. 6, 10 a.m.-noon, via Zoom or in person at City Hall, 200 Texas St., Council Chamber.
Vendors are encouraged to register as soon as possible. Registration is easy and free, and it only takes a few minutes to complete. To register, visit the City of Fort Worth Bonfire page.

To log in to vendor trainings:

Contact the City of Fort Worth Purchasing Division at 817-392-2462 with questions or concerns. Stay updated and access resources by visiting the Fort Worth Purchasing website at Online Bidding Platform.
