There were 29 Asian students enrolled in Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts School District in the 2022-23 school year, 6.5% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts School District welcomed 642 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, Asian students comprised 4.5% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts School District roughly covers schools within Tarrant County and has a main office in Fort Worth.

Among the two schools in Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts School District, Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts Elementary recorded the highest enrollment of Asian students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 15 students.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
