Enrollment Analysis: Asian students comprised 1.7% of Fort Worth ISD schools' student body in 2022-23 school year

There were 1,260 Asian students enrolled in Fort Worth ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 4.7% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Fort Worth ISD schools welcomed 72,783 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, Asian students comprised 1.7% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

Fort Worth ISD roughly covers schools within Tarrant County and has a main office in Fort Worth.

Among the 138 schools in Fort Worth ISD schools, Clifford Davis Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of Asian students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 158 students.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
