A 13-year-old girl was rescued in November from the clutches of child sex trafficking after she had been repeatedly raped in exchange for money to her captors, and now the owner of the website allegedly responsible for her rapes has been charged with 28 federal counts, The Dallas Morning News reported.

When the unnamed minor was rescued, she was found in a hotel room in Irving wearing no pants or undergarments. She was only wearing a zippered hoodie, the news agency reported.

Surveillance video obtained from the hotel showed that earlier in the day she had been subjected to "quick visits" which is a slang term used by traffickers for sex with three men in quick succession, according to the news agency. When she was returned to her family, she told officers that her captors had told her if she talked to the police, they would have her shot and killed.

Wilhan Martono is now facing charges for his website, CityXGuide, which allowed users to purchase sex services online. CityXGuide was registered the day after federal agents seized Backpage, another sex services website that had quickly become the largest website worldwide for buying and selling sex.

U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Texas Erin Nealy Cox said her agency did not stop with Backpage and would not stop with CityXGuide.

“If you are going to facilitate exploitation online, we’re not going to hesitate to seize your site and bring charges against you,” Cox told The Dallas Morning News.

Cox's goal is to get rid of pimps and their advertising venues, the news agency reported.

Martono's indictment notes that he earned more than $21 million from his website. He has been charged under a new federal law put in place after Backpage, which involves reckless disregard for sex trafficking. His charges involve racketeering, transportation in aid of racketeering, promoting prostitution and money laundering.
