Tarleton State University’s Tutoring and Learning Center has completed the International Tutor Training Program Certification (ITTPC) peer review process and been certified as a Level 1, 2 and 3 tutor training program by the internationally recognized College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA).
Achieving certification means that the tutoring program meets CRLA’s standards for tutor selection, training, direct service and evaluation as an integral part of its overall tutoring package.
“Providing high-quality academic support services to Tarleton students is the mission of University College,” said Dean Dr. Wayne Atchley. “This certification further enhances our ability to serve all Tarleton students. I am proud of the staff of the Tutoring and Learning Center for their dedication to seek this certification.”
