Tarleton Choir Showcase Adds Competition

Tarleton State University’s annual Choir Showcase will feature an entertaining twist this year.

In addition to ensembles performing “Wagon Wheel,” “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy,” “And So It Goes,” “Across the Sea” and other favorites, a friendly competition will be folded into the concert, set for 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 3, in the Clyde H. Wells Fine Arts Center Theater.

Registered performers will compete for cash prizes of up to $100 and $1,000 choir scholarships for qualified current and future Tarleton students.

Seating is general admission. Tickets are $5, or free with a Tarleton ID.

Contact Dr. Troy Robertson, Tarleton Director of Choirs, to schedule an audition or for more information: robertson@tarleton.edu
