When it’s time to celebrate, it’s time to raise a glass. For TCU’s 150th anniversary, a special edition wine – actually two – will commemorate the occasion. Saarloos + Sons winery in California’s Santa Ynez Valley has created a cabernet sauvignon and a sauvignon blanc to commemorate the university’s sesquicentennial.

James Cash ’69, a leader in sports, community and education, cemented his place in TCU history Friday. On the same day the university dedicated his statue in front of the Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena, Chancellor Victor J. Boschini, Jr. presented him with an Honorary Doctor of Science, honoris causa.

Horned Frogs, get ready to tailgate. For the first time ever, Fox’s Big Noon Kickoff will be broadcast live from TCU. This Saturday, Nov. 5, the national show will take place outside Amon G. Carter Stadium on the Kelly Center lawn before No. 7 TCU hosts Texas Tech.
