Fiesta Bowl Bound: Get Ready for the Biggest Go Purple Friday of the Year
The Horned Frogs will play their first College Football Playoff in history on Dec. 31, making Friday, Dec. 30, the biggest Go Purple Friday of 2022.
Go Purple Friday is for the fans, and on Dec. 30, it’s time to go big as Horned Frog fans rally to cheer on their TCU football team in the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl in Phoenix Dec. 31.
Whether you’re a Horned Frog or simply love rooting for the home team, join us in showing your purple pride for DFW’s Big 12 team and Fort Worth as the Horned Frogs take the national stage.
From purple lights across the city to flags, TCU gear, buttons and face paint – Friday, Dec. 30, is the day for all things purple. Even the Fort Worth Zoo’s “Iggy” (the iconic lizard on University Drive) will be going purple.
