TCU was recognized with an Honor Award from the Professional Grounds Management Society for its exceptional grounds maintenance.
The Green Star Awards program brings national recognition to grounds maintained with a high degree of excellence. TCU was awarded in the mid-size category for campuses between 201 and 499 acres.
“We have a long-tenured grounds team that keeps our campus looking great,” Erik Trevino, director of TCU landscaping and grounds, said. “We’re passionate about the grounds being something for everyone to enjoy, including those in the community who drive by and walk through it.”
Serving the profession for over 100 years, the Professional Grounds Management Society is an individual membership society of grounds professionals dedicated to advancing the grounds management profession through education and professional development.
