Graduates earn 848 degrees, certificates from the University of North Texas Health Science Center

About 67.1 percent of the 848 degrees and certificates handed out by the University of North Texas Health Science Center in 2017-18 were to students in health professions and related programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Worth conferred 341 doctor's degrees and 176 master's degrees in health professions and related programs.

But the single most popular program was for a doctor's degree in osteopathic medicine/osteopathy. Data shows the school gave out 218 doctor's degrees in osteopathic medicine/osteopathy, followed by 212 master's degrees in general biomedical sciences and 77 doctor's degrees in pharmacy.

The university enrolled 2,276 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in 2276 programs.
