Heading into Friday, the Mavericks lead the overall series record with the Warhawks 56-54. The most recent conference series meeting came back in April of 2021 where UTA swept ULM in Monroe. The Mavs outscored the Warhawks 28-5 across the three-game series.

- Sophomore Gracie Bumpurs threw her first shut out of the season as the righty reached a new game-high of six strike outs. Bumpurs allowed just three hits across 26 Bearkats as she went on to improve her record to 5-4.
- Freshman outfielder Aaliyah White leads the Mavericks with a .364 batting average on the year. Across 22 games started this season White has knocked 20 hits - third highest on the team.
- Corner infielders Meagan Smith and KJ Murphy share a team-best 15 RBI apiece. Murphy has knocked the most hits on the team with 24 this season. Smith paces the squad with 5 home runs so far this year.
- Freshman Kaylee Cavazos holds a .364 batting average in conference play alone. She has started in four Sun Belt matches for UTA with two home runs and four RBI.
- ULM took a 5-7 loss at McNeese Wednesday, Mar. 30 in Lake Charles as the Warhawks now sit on an overall record of 18-11.
- The Warhawks won one out of three conference series so far this year with their win coming from Georgia Southern.
- Sophomore Lourdes Bacon leads ULM with a .375 batting average, 21 runs scored and 33 hits on the year.
- Junior Kennedy Johnson has a team-high 8 RBI with the second highest batting average of .366. Johnson is tied with Kennedy Paige and Gabby Davila with 16 RBIs apiece.
- Freshman pitcher Kinsey Kackley (5-3) mains the circle for ULM with 56.2 innings pitched with 56 strike outs and 2 complete games.
- Sophomore Kassidy Giddens (4-0) has a low 1.75 ERA – best on the pitching staff – over 24 innings spent on the mound.
The Mavericks will head to Austin to face No. 15 Texas Wednesday, April 6 at 6 p.m. at Red & Charline McCombs Field.
