With extra family members, friends and neighbors gathered around the hearth during the upcoming holidays, it’s easy to generate trash that exceeds the capacity of the brown cart.

Good news! All residents are allowed two extra bags of garbage next to the cart on their first pickup day following Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day. There is no added fee for this service.

Still need to get rid of more trash? Avoid the fine of extra trash with Pay Bags. Pay Bags are available in sets of five for $15 plus tax and can be placed curbside with your regular collection. To order, call 817-392-1234. Bags will be mailed to you and charged on your water bill.

Another option: Residents can also take their extra trash and recycling to any of the City’s four drop-off stations.

View a schedule of garbage, recycling and yard waste pickup throughout the holidays.
