There were 23,082 students enrolled in Uplift Education schools in the 2022-23 school year, 4.1% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 50.5% of them were boys, and 49.5% were girls.

Data also shows that the majority of students were Hispanic, representing 66% of the Uplift Education total enrollment.

Uplift Education roughly covers schools within Dallas County with its main office in Dallas.

Among the 43 schools in Uplift Education, Uplift Heights Preparatory Primary School recorded the highest enrollment of 968 students in the 2022-23 school year.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
