There were 5,229 African American students enrolled in Uplift Education School District in the 2022-23 school year, 10.3% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Uplift Education School District welcomed 23,082 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, African American students comprised 22.7% of the student body to be one of the most represented ethnicities in the district.

Among the 43 schools in Uplift Education School District, Uplift Hampton Preparatory Primary School recorded the highest enrollment of African American students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 469 students.
