After a comprehensive search, the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History has appointed Peter Claffey as the Vice President of Operations. Claffey brings almost two decades of experience in leading science and children's museums nationwide, having managed everything from daily logistics and staff leadership to strategic planning and visitor experience design. "We are delighted that Peter will be joining us," stated Regina Faden, Ph.D., President of the museum. "He brings with him extensive experience in leadership and innovative thinking that will help the Museum reach the next level of our overall Guest experience."

Claffey holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and an Associate of Science in Fire Science and Administration. This academic background indicates his strategic mindset and his ability to remain effective under pressure, both essential qualities for success in the museum's dynamic environment.

In his new role, Claffey will oversee operations including Guest Services, Security, and Facilities. His focus on operations and hands-on management will be important for his contributions at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History.
